Great ski resort to learn. The snowboard school is particularly good. Discounts for foreigners in lift tickets and a webpage where you can webcams so you know the conditions before you leave. There is a bus from Sendai station but having a car is definitely recommended. Decent restaurant and there is also a place where you can bring your own food. Family friendly with kids park and mostly easy slopes. Begginners can ask lift operators to slow them down to get on an off, just raise your hand.

The ski resort had a lot of amazing slopes that are easy for beginners and a good challenge for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The courses are very scenic and offer a lot of variety. The snow conditions are generally very good. The lift cost and lift options for time and per-ride tickets is very fair. All of the facilities for food and rentals is fantastic!! They also have a kids course for bunny learners and little kids to ride sleds.

We did the night ski last night. My kids are beginners, so we bought one ride tickets. It takes us 30 minutes to go up and come down. At 300 yen for one lift, twice was enough for an after school run. Lots of snow there now.

This ski resort is big enough and has many courses with different difficulties. There're also gondola service, which is faster to get to the uphill.

3600 yen just to rent a ski jacket and pants. Kind of expensive

Zao boo burger sold in front of ticket office is really large and delicious. Ski course is also good!

Ski resort is good with great track but sadly there are no instructors for beginners..wish they had organised tours for beginners with instructors ..the staff is helpful (very limited English though) but it’s no use when you need someone to guide you... if you are a beginner, you will prefer a place where they can instruct you rather than leaving on your own
